Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett, will be directed by Charlie Ainsworth, a Gallaudet senior majoring in theatre.  This production is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. New York City.

 

Two men wait under a tree.  A controversial play in which nothing happens, twice.

 

Performances are November 1-10, 2012 in the Gilbert C. Eastman Studio Theatre located in Elstad Annex 131 on the campus of Gallaudet University.  Free on-campus parking is available.  The closest Metro stop is the NoMa-Gallaudet U (New York Ave.) stop on the Red Line.

 

This production runs approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes - with one 15 minute intermission.  All performances will be accessible to all audiences.

 

Appropriate for patrons 12 years old and up - children under the age of 5 years old will not be permitted in the theatre. Patrons need to be in their seats no later than 10 minutes before curtain.  There will be no late seating once the show starts.

 

The Box Office Window will be open October 29-31 and November 5-7 from 2:00-6:00 pm. in Elstad Annex 120 (Theatre Program main office).  On performances days (November 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10) the Box Office Window will be open 2 hours before the start of the show.  Tickets purchased at the Box Office Window must be paid for with cash or local check. 

 

TICKETLEAP, the on-line credit card system for purchasing rickets, stops processing credit card transactions three (3) hours before the start of each performance.  Once crdit card transactions stop, ticket purchases must be made at the Box Office Window with cash or local check.  The Box Office Window is open two (2) hours before each performance.

 

Tickets: full time Gallaudet students who have paid the fall semester unit fee - on free ticket with ID; non-Gallaudt students with ID: $8 on-line, $10 at the Box Office Window; adults: $10 on-line, $12 at the Box Office Window; groups of 10 people or more: email ([email protected]) or call (202) 651-5500.

 

Gallaudet students may pick up their ticket at the Box Office Window.  Students may not pick up tickets for other students.
