The Gallaudet Dance Company is pleased to announce its 69th Spring Dance Concert, Embracing the Moment, sponsored by the Theatre and Dance Program and the Delta Zeta Foundation. Performances are Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10:30 am and 7:30 pm and Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 7:30 pm in Elstad Auditorium, Gallaudet University, 800 Florida Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20002 [Metro – RED line – NoMa-Gallaudet]. Free, on-campus parking is available.
This special, family-friendly event will bring together dancers of the acclaimed troupe for a show that is guaranteed to awe and inspire. The company will present an entertaining production featuring local guest artists and a variety of dance genres including jazz, hip-hop, Latin, African dance, musical theatre, modern, lyrical ballet, and ASL fused with dance. Choreographers presenting new dance works include: Ashley Pigliavento, Brooke Roberts, Michelle Morris, Tara Miles, Shawnflow Odom, and Yolanda Ford. Participating guest artists include: Harmony Baniaga, Sunshine 2.0, Masti Moves, MotionZ, and more!
PHOTOGRAPHY CREDIT goes to Andrew Robertson of Silver Spring, MD. Mr. Robertson has been photographing the Gallaudet dancers since 2014. The Gallaudet Dance Company is most appreciative of his work in capturing the spirit of the dancers and their technical abilities during rehearsals and performances.

This production runs approximately two (2) hours with one (1) intermission. This is a family-friendly event - ALL patrons must have a ticket regardless of age.

FULL-TIME Gallaudet Students - who have paid the spring 2024 semester unit fee receive one (1) free ticket with their ID. Please complete the Google Form. DO NOT buy a Gallaudet student ticket using the online credit card system (TICKETLEAP) unless you are sure you do not qualify for the one (1) free ticket with ID.
Gallaudet Students - who have NOT paid the spring 2024 semester unit fee, PART-TIME Gallaudet Students (i.e., students taking ASL or PST classes), Non-Gallaudet Students (students attending any other school), and full-time Gallaudet students who have paid the spring 2024 semester unit fee and already received their "one free ticket with ID" but want to see the show a second time - $10 online (with a credit card - use the Part-time Gallaudet Student/Non-Gallaudet Student-with School ID category), $15 at the Box Office Window (CASH ONLY; no credit cards).

The on-line credit card system (TICKETLEAP) is available 24/7 --- but stops processing credit card transactions two (2) hours before the start of the event. Once credit card transactions stop, ticket purchases must be made at the Box Office Window with cash or a local check - no credit cards.
